Flat-rate Pricing
HSC offers a simple flat-rate pricing structure that allows you to get a fair price based solely on the square footage of your home, the services you select and how many beds/bathes there are. This makes it easy and gives you a predictable upfront cost.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your cleaning for any reason, please do so no later than 48 hours before the service. If cancelled later, a $50 cancellation fee is required.

Billing
Payment is due at the time of each service. Payment can be made via the following ways:

We reserve the right to raise our prices if needed, however, our clients will always be given advance notice.
Disclosure of any/all challenges within the home.
Everyone’s home is different and Home Sweet Clean fully understands that. It is important to share any pertinent details that could impact Home Sweet Clean’s ability to safely and efficiently complete the cleaning job.
For example: excessively dirty floors, clutter blocking the areas to be cleaned, pet damage, stained flooring or other parts of the home, etc.
For additional examples or clarification, do not hesitate to ask.
Does Home Sweet Clean charge any additional fees?
Separate from add ons specified on our services page or the gas fee mentioned below, additional fees would be assessed if the home or a portion of the home was excessively dirty. Home Sweet Clean will disclose those fees to the client prior to completing the job to ensure all parties are on the same page.
Gas fee.
A gas fee of .67 cents per mile is applied to customers that live over 15 miles from Home Sweet Clean’s home base in Lowell.
Customer Satisfaction
If you are dissatisfied with any of your cleaning services, please contact us right away so that we can make it right. We will first assess the situation to make sure that we understand the concern, then will re-clean the problem area at no cost to you. The re-clean must be completed within two business days following your initial service. If you are still not satisfied and HSC is at fault, we will offer a refund or partial refund according to the circumstances.
Services not offered.
We specialize in cleaning your home effectively and efficiently and offer a wide array of cleaning services to suit many different needs.
However, we do not offer:
Dish washing - if there are dishes in the sink, we will work around them to clean the sink. If there are too many dishes for us to reasonably access the sink, we will not be able to clean it.
Letting animals outdoors while cleaning the home.
Biohazard cleaning.
Does HSC supply their own supplies/equipment?
Yes, we come fully equipped. However if you prefer to provide a vacuum, that is suggested as we don’t have time to sanitize it as we move from home to home.
What happens if we’re not satisfied with our clean?
If you’re not pleased with your experience, please email us to discuss your concerns. We strive to meet your standards every service and will rectify any issues promptly.
How much do services cost?

Are the products pet and kid friendly?
HSC uses a majority of non-toxic, environmentally friendly products, if you have any concerns on certain products you can discuss alternative options with us.
Is Home Sweet Clean a franchise?
We are not a franchise, this gives us freedom to provide services and keeps the cost reasonable.
Is HSC licensed and insured?
Yes, we operate legally as an LLC in the state of Michigan and are covered by liability insurance.
Does somebody have to be home to let the cleaner in?
No, most clients give us access to their home by providing a key, garage pin, or lock box.
Is a tip required?
Tipping is greatly appreciated but not required.
What if I have a pet?
We ask that you find a good spot for your pet to remain while we clean your home, so both the cleaner and pet feel comfortable and safe.
When is payment due?
Payment is due at the time of service. If you choose to pay with check or cash, we ask that you please leave it in a sealed envelope addressed to “Home Sweet Clean.”
What if I need to skip a day or cancel my services?
To end your recurring services completely, we ask for at least a week notice. If you need to skip a clean, we ask for 48 hours notice or you may be subject to the $50 cancellation fee.
